Haunted House

The Wesley Foundation at WCU is excited for its 16th year of the Annual Haunted House! For the better part of the last two decades, the Wesley Foundation offers this Haunted attraction as a community event for all that raises money for the Wesley Foundation programs like Holiday Heros, project FIRE, United Christian Ministries, Disaster repair work, etc. Whee hope to see you there! Below is more information about the haunted house.

Looking to go through the Haunted House? Below are some FAQs:

When is it?
•    This year we are open October 31st from 7-11pm and November 1st from 7-11pm

What is the cost?
•    Tickets are $10 a person and can only be purchased at the door (no presales). We take Cash, Credit Card, and Venmo. There are no refunds issued.

How long is the haunted House?
•    The run time on the house is about 10 min. Wait times vary throughout the night, but we have food trucks and games on the lawn for all ages while you wait. (If there is severe weather we offer a place indoors to wait). There is no restroom on site but there is one across the street

Is it family friendly?
•    We recommend ages 10 and up for the haunted house, but we trust the decisions of parents. Do note there are no refunds for the haunted house if you decide not to finish.

Parking and location
•    We are located at Cullowhee United Methodist Church: 416 central drive, Cullowhee NC 28723. There is a parking lot at the church. If it is full, there is parking across the street at McKee Hall.

What kind of haunted house is it?
•    It is not a “Hell House”. We work with college students to make a scary but fun environment. It does have strobe lights and loud sounds. We advise anyone with a medical condition related to these items to use their best judgment before entering the haunted house.

What is not allowed?
•    While inside the haunt and in the midway we do not allow costumed/Halloween masks, weapons, drugs or alcohol, or offensive/abusive/obscene behaviors towards our actors or other guests. Those who cannot comply will be asked to leave with no refund. The WCU Police Department is on standby during both nights of the haunted house.

Is it scary?
•    Yes.
